Shape your creation with a hydraulic press and biomaterials such as spent coffee grounds and casein
Service Description
MATERIAL Coffee grounds, water, and casein (milk protein). WHAT YOU LEARN You’ll learn how to create a sturdy, moldable bioplastic from waste materials. You’ll explore the production process and how to use molds and presses to make 2D shapes. STRUCTURE Starts with an introduction, then you work independently in groups using a simple recipe to create shapes with a hydraulic press and cookie cutters. Finished pieces can be taken home if you bring a container.
