Shape your creation with a hydraulic press and biomaterials such as spent coffee grounds and casein
Service Description
MATERIAL Spent coffee grounds, water, and casein (milk protein). WHAT YOU LEARN You’ll learn how to create a sturdy, moldable bioplastic from waste materials. You’ll explore the production process and how to use molds and a hydraulic press to make 2D shapes. STRUCTURE Starts with an introduction, then you work independently in groups using a simple recipe to create shapes with a hydraulic press and cookie cutters. Finished pieces can be shipped back to you once they are fully dried.
