EcoPlay
Two-part workshop series to create and transform your own sustainable toys
Service Description
This creative and educational workshop series is specially designed for secondary school students. The series consists of two parts: Making Toys and Modifying Toys. Part 1 – Making Toys Materials: Coffee grounds, water, and casein (milk protein). What you'll learn: In this part, participants learn how to create toys using biobased waste materials. They explore the production process, work independently with recipes, and create shapes using molds and presses. Structure: The session starts with an introduction, followed by hands-on work where participants use a recipe and create shapes with a press and cutters. The finished objects are dried and prepared for further processing in the second part. Part 2 – Modifying Toys Materials: Machines, craft supplies, and jewelry kits. What you'll learn: In the second part, participants continue working with the toys they previously made. They receive demonstrations of various modification techniques and then apply these independently to customize and personalize their creations. Structure: The workshop begins with an explanation, followed by an active phase where each participant modifies their own toy. At the end, they may take their final product home. The workshops can be flexibly scheduled: as an intensive two-day program, spread over two days, or extended across four days. This allows schools or institutions to tailor the format to their own planning preferences. Each workshop lasts one hour and the total cost is €700.
