Turn coffee waste and potato starch into bioclay — then mold it into something truly your own.
Service Description
MATERIAL Potato starch, water, spent coffee grounds, coffee husks, and glycerin. WHAT YOU LEARN You’ll learn to make a more flexible, clay-like bioplastic. The focus is on creativity and shaping by hand or with tools. You'll discover how texture and ingredients affect the final result. STRUCTURE After a short introduction, you will work together in groups to create your own bio-clay by following a six-step process and cooking the recipe yourselves. We provide a variety of molds to shape your 3D creations. Finished pieces will be shipped back to you once they are fully dried in a dehydrator.
