At De Ontdekfabriek in Eindhoven, From Waste to Wonder came to life in a hands-on workshop where children learned by making, experimenting, and discovering. ✨♻️  

Using biobased and circular materials such as coffee grounds, participants explored how everyday waste can be transformed into real toys. Guided by designer Jamie van Duuren, the children worked with simple 2D and 3D techniques—using cookie cutters, molds, and their own imagination—to create playful, unique designs. The workshop emphasized creativity, problem-solving, and sustainability through doing. ​

This collaboration highlights the shared values of From Waste to Wonder and De Ontdekfabriek: playful learning, hands-on creativity, and inspiring young makers to see new possibilities in materials we often throw away.
